Copyright Ownership

User-Generated Content:

  • Users retain copyright ownership of their original prompts and content
  • By uploading content, users grant PromptZoro a non-exclusive license to display and distribute their content
  • Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to sell and license their content
  • PromptZoro does not claim ownership of user-generated content

Platform Content:

  • PromptZoro owns copyright in the platform design, code, and original content
  • Our trademarks, logos, and brand elements are protected intellectual property
  • Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute platform content without permission

Paid Prompt Licensing:

Personal use: Unlimited
Commercial use: Allowed for buyer's own business
Redistribution of prompt text: Prohibited
Attribution: No permission needed (though attribution is appreciated)
Usage scope: Single business/organization

Important: These licensing terms are legally binding for all paid prompt purchases. Violation of these terms may result in account suspension and legal action.

Copyright Infringement

What Constitutes Infringement:

  • Using copyrighted material without permission from the copyright owner
  • Reproducing, distributing, or displaying copyrighted content without authorization
  • Creating derivative works based on copyrighted material without permission
  • Using trademarks or logos without proper authorization

User Responsibilities:

  • Only upload content that you own or have permission to use
  • Do not use copyrighted material from others without proper licensing
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of other users
  • Report suspected copyright violations to our support team

Takedown Requests

If you believe your copyright has been infringed, you may submit a takedown request:

Required Information:

  • Copyright Owner Information: Your name, address, phone number, and email
  • Description of Work: Detailed description of the copyrighted work being infringed
  • Location of Infringement: Specific URL or location of the infringing content
  • Statement of Good Faith: Statement that you believe the use is not authorized
  • Accuracy Statement: Statement that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act
  • Signature: Electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative

Submission Process:

  • Send takedown requests to: support@promptzoro.com
  • Subject line: "Copyright Takedown Request"
  • Include all required information listed above
  • We will review and respond within 48 hours

Counter-Notifications

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification:

Required Information:

  • Your Information: Name, address, phone number, and email
  • Content Identification: Description of the removed content and its location
  • Good Faith Statement: Statement that you believe the content was removed in error
  • Consent to Jurisdiction: Consent to local federal court jurisdiction
  • Signature: Electronic or physical signature

Process:

  • Submit counter-notifications to: support@promptzoro.com
  • We will review within 10-14 business days
  • If valid, content may be restored
  • Original complainant will be notified of the counter-notification

Repeat Infringers

PromptZoro has a policy for handling repeat copyright infringers:

  • Users with multiple valid copyright violations may have their accounts suspended
  • Repeated violations may result in permanent account termination
  • We maintain records of all copyright-related actions
  • Appeals may be submitted for account termination decisions
